A Time for Reflection- Our Conference Blog

With the year drawing to a close, I thought that it was the perfect time to reflect upon what has been happening at The Rural Business Community, and to give you a taste of what to expect in the New Year.

Since The Rural Business Community opened its doors in August 2011, we have been lucky enough to play host to a diverse range of local business conferences. From credit management companies, to local food experts and training and development coaches, The Rural Business Community has been able to provide a cost-effective solution to companies looking for the ideal conference space. I am delighted that we have been able to support our local businesses and offer facilities to help them grow, train and develop.

Several delegates have commented that one of the main features that sets us apart is our private and peaceful setting. The Rural Business Community is located in the heart of the Rutland countryside, sat directly in some of the most beautiful farmland in the area. Even though we are only 3 miles from the market town of Uppingham, companies have found that they can host private meetings, without distractions. We offer the perfect balance of seclusion, combined with an easily accessible, central location. This feature will never change. At The Rural Business Community we take exceptional pride in our idyllic and peaceful setting. Through the high level of quality of our facilities, fresh, local catering and value added services, such a virtual receptionist , administration support and even seminar organisation, we are able to say that we pride ourselves in offering hassle free service that meets our client’s needs. Come and see us and experience it for yourself!

This year we have also been joined by several new members, who rent desks and offices at The Rural Business Community, all of which from a variety of business backgrounds. This means that our Active Referral Network can now begin in January. The Active Referral Network gives companies a chance to explain their business ideas and share their knowledge. This monthly meeting will help other businesses to understand how much other companies can add value to each other’s businesses and clients. The Active Referral Network will take place in our conference centre. Dates are to be announced. If you would like any information about this meeting, or even about putting together your own networking event, contact us on the details on this page.

I am also incredibly excited to announce that The Rural Business Community will be playing host to a collection of informative and educational seminars this year. Our director, Charlie Reading, is in the process of putting together a series of talks on a range of subjects centred on financial planning. These will take place in our spacious and modern seminar suite in Seaton. Details of these seminars will be posted on our website. If you would like any more information, please do not hesitate in contacting us.

In conclusion, 2011 has been an incredibly encouraging year for us. We have had the opportunity to work with some wonderful and interesting companies and develop our own internal community. Next year we want to continue this trend and continue to provide the ideal conference and the ideal office environment.
